Kia Ora, Bula, and Namaste, My name is Risha, and I’ve been proud to call Aotearoa home for the past 25 years. I have been the Director of The Playhouse Pre-School since November 2022. I strongly value the relationships we build with our tamariki, whānau, and wider community. These connections are at the heart of everything we do, and I believe they are key to helping our children grow with confidence, curiosity, and care.

Kia ora, My name is Staci, and I’m a fully qualified and fully registered teacher with 16 years of experience in Early Childhood Education. I’m deeply passionate about supporting tamariki as they grow, learn, and transition to school with confidence. At the heart of my teaching practice is the belief in the power of meaningful relationships—with tamariki, whānau, and the wider community. I am committed to helping each child develop a strong sense of belonging and a lifelong love for learning.

Kia Ora, I’m Sneh Hill, a Kaiako at The Playhouse Pre-School and a provisionally registered teacher. Originally from the beautiful islands of Fiji, I bring with me a deep passion for creating nurturing, inclusive, and engaging learning environments where every child feels valued and supported. It’s a privilege to be part of each child’s early learning journey, and I’m excited to support them as they take these important first steps.

Kia ora! My name is Kriti Karishma, and I’m originally from the beautiful islands of Fiji. I am a Provisionally Registered Teacher here at The Playhouse Preschool. With over 15 years of experience teaching young minds, I am passionate about creating nurturing, engaging, and meaningful learning experiences for children. I feel privileged to be part of The Playhouse Preschool, where I can continue to inspire and support tamariki as they grow, explore, and discover the world around them.

Sat Sri Akal, My name is Gurjeet Kaur, and I am a Teacher in Training here at The Playhouse Pre-School. Originally from Fiji, I have been living in New Zealand for the past 14 years and am a proud mum to one wonderful boy. As I continue my teaching journey, I’m committed to building strong, nurturing relationships with our tamariki and whānau every step of the way.

Sri Akaal, I’m Amandeep Kaur, a provisionally registered Early Childhood Education teacher. I moved to New Zealand from India about eight and a half years ago. My teaching philosophy is grounded in the idea that children thrive in stimulating, inclusive environments where they can grow physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially. I strive to provide meaningful resources and opportunities that encourage children to express themselves, take risks, explore ideas, and engage in their own learning journey with confidence.

Kia ora and Talofa lava, My name is Nella, and I’m grateful to be part of the Playhouse Preschool team, where I can live out my passion for working alongside young children in their early learning journey. I’m especially passionate about outdoor exploration and connecting with te taiao (the natural world) as a rich environment for learning, play, and discovery. I also value building strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and our wider community. I look forward to meeting you and your whānau!

Kia Ora My name is Serenity and I just  joined the Playhouse Pre-School team. I love working with children and enjoy playing with them.

Kia Ora everyone, my name is Ashlee-Paige I am a passionate, bubbly third year Teacher in Training. I thrive on creating hands-on sensory experiences that spark children’s curiosity and learning. I believe in empowering tamariki to take risks, explore their interests, and embrace a little mess along the way. I support each child to think deeply and grow as confident, capable learners. Building an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome is at the heart of my teaching.

Kia Ora, nei hou, My name is Chloe and I am delighted to join the Playhouse Pre-school team. I have just finished my studies with the University of Auckland with my Bachelors in Early Childhood Studies and Postgraduate Dipolma in Teaching (ECE). As a beinnging kaiako, I am commited to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment that is engaging for our tamariki, and building strong and lasting relationships with our tamariki and their whānau.
